Warning by a senior member of al-Nujaba about the odorant oil project

While implicitly criticizing the holding of the Baghdad II meeting in Jordan, al-Asadi warned about the negative consequences of the construction of the Basrah-Aqabah pipeline.

According to the website of the representative office of al-Nujaba in Iran, Hujjat al-Islam Ali al-Asadi, the head of the Political Council of the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement, tweeted in reference to the holding of the Baghdad II meeting in Jordan, writing, “This meeting was like an iceberg, where each of its participants announces their desired part of the output.”

Hujjat al-Islam al-Asadi emphasized that “Iraq competes with most of the members of the aforementioned meeting in the economic and strategic fields,” and continued, “Disruption of the activities of the Grand Faw Port, harbouring criminals and facilitating the conditions for removing looted property from Iraq and other cases, indicate this issue.”

In conclusion, he warned, “Everyone should be aware that stealing Iraq’s wealth is not possible, and without a doubt, the attempt to build an oil pipeline from Basrah to Aqabah (in Jordan) is a red line, and persistence in doing it will lead to difficulties!”

It should be noted that Iraqi national and Resistance figures had previously opposed the project of transferring oil from Iraq to Jordan and considered it to be an indirect source of energy for the Zionist regime.
