In a Meeting of the Secretary-General of the al-Nujaba:

Raeisi, Daesh is the main factor advancing the goals of Zionism in the region

 

In a meeting with Hujjat al-Islam al-Ka’bi, the custodian of the Astan Quds Razavi called Daesh a factor in advancing the goals of Zionism in the region and stressed the need to create insight among Muslims and keep the Islamic world aware of the conspiracies of the arrogant powers.

 

According to the Communication and Media Affairs Centre of al-‎Nujaba in Iran, Hujjat al-Islam Akram al-Ka’bi, the secretary-general of al-‎Nujaba, met with Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Ebrahim Raeisi, on September 2, 2016, in the Velayat Hall of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali al-Ridha in Mashhad.

Hujjat al-Islam Raeisi considered the favour of God Almighty, the efforts of the armed forces and the entry of the Popular Mobilization Forces into the arena of struggle as the cause of the success of the Islamic Resistance Front in Iraq and Syria and stated, “Today, with the efforts of the zealous warriors of Islam, conditions have been created on the battlefield against Daesh in Iraq where superiority and initiative have been placed in the hands of Iraqi forces.”

The member of the Supreme Council of the Islamic Seminary of Khorasan introduced the secret of success and victory of the Islamic Resistance Front in Iraq as the unity of the word and integration among the various strata of Islamic society, including Shi’ahs and Sunnis, and stated, “Takfiri and Salafi groups have stopped claiming and boasting for some time. It means that the warriors of Islam have the upper hand and initiative on the battlefield and the terrorists are in a position of weakness.”

He praised the determined and strong will of the forces of the Islamic Resistance Front and expressed hope that the whole country of Iraq would soon be cleansed of the filth of Daesh and added, “Strong beliefs and deep Islamic faith are the greatest assets of the Islam Resistance Forces and the reason for their success on the battlefield.”

 

Extremist Groups, Branches of the Arrogant Powers

Hujjat al-Islam Raesi called the military field part of the struggle against deviant and extremist movements and added, “This is the deviant thinking and culture of al-Qaedah, Daesh and the Takfiris that must be fought. We believe that in no way must Daesh be considered a Sunni extremist movement, these terrorist groups are undoubtedly the agents of Israel and global Zionism to strike at Islam.”

The member of the board of directors of the Assembly of Experts of the Leadership added, “By creating such groups, the arrogant powers have tried to confront Islam and the forces have risen up due to being awaked by Islamic Revolution under the name of Islam and under the cover of the slogan ‘la ilaha illa Allah’ [there is no god but God] and the claim of fighting the arrogant powers.”

Emphasizing that Daesh is a subject of colonialism and the arrogant powers, he noted, “Unfortunately, the ignorant people, thinking that they are fighting for God, have turned to these deviant extremist groups and we must strive with a coherent and effective cultural movement to enlighten the thoughts of these people. It must be made clear by demonstrating the true face of Daesh that this extremist group has nothing to do with the Sunni brothers and more than they have committed crimes against Shi’ahs, that they have killed Sunnis.”

Hujjat al-Islam Raesi described Daesh as a factor in advancing the goals of Zionism in the region and said that with a little study in history, the British roots of the Wahhabi sect will be revealed and said, “History bears witness to the fact that Wahhabism is a deviant movement which has been trained by the British and has committed many crimes against our Sunni brethren.”

His Eminence praised al-Nujaba’s efforts in establishing and uniting the Islamic Resistance forces and assisting the Iraqi army and said, “During the eight years of the Sacred Defence [Iran-Iraq War], the role of the Basij and the unity of the people along with the armed forces was very decisive in the victory of the Islamic Front. Today, all of the capacities of the Muslims must be united for the victory of Islam.”

In another part of his speech, he pointed to the advantages of the Islamic Front and the defeats of the arrogant powers in various fields and said that the arrogant powers have not been successful in any of the global developments and added, “Today, we are witnessing the victory and success of the Islamic Resistance forces in the battlefields of Iraq, Syria and Yemen. The oppressed people of Yemen do not have a cohesive air, naval and land force but with the strength of the Islamic Resistance, they have overwhelmed the House of Saudi who are armed to the teeth.”

 

The Need to Create Insight in the Islamic World

Hujjat al-Islam Raesi emphasized the need to create insight in the Islamic world and said, “Today, more than anything, we need to create insight among Islamic societies. Insight is the keyword that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Khamenei] has always emphasized in his statements because as the late Imam [Khomeyni] said if there is no insight, the enemies who exit through the door by sacrificing the blood of the martyrs will enter through the window.”

The member of the Supreme Council of the Islamic Seminary of Khorasan referred to the issue of “influence” as a complex conspiracy by the hegemonic system and said, “To warn in a timely manner and explain the various aspects of the plan of the hegemonic system, the Supreme Leader has mentioned the danger of the enemies’ influence as one of the main strategies of the enemies in the contemporary era and introduced the way to deal with it to protect the values of the revolution and being revolutionary.”

He introduced the basic strategy of the hegemonic system against Islamic societies as influence and expressed, “The basic strategy of the enemies to strike at Islamic society is to create division and our strategy is unity. Therefore, any action or word that may harm this unity must be avoided.”

Hujjat al-Islam Raesi also presented a report on the Islamic Resistance Front in Iraq and Syria and stating, “God-willing, Mosul will be liberated soon. The Popular Mobilization Forces have considerable power and can liberate Mosul without the help of others.”

In conclusion, he also referred to the Islamic Resistance Front in Syria, “In Syria, despite the bad propaganda of the enemies, Daesh is in despair and, God-willing, victory will be imminent.”
