After the defeat of Daesh, al-Nujaba’s new mission is to expel the US

 

In a detailed report ending with an exclusive interview with the spokesman of the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement, Azad News Agency ‎(ANA) concluded that the priority of al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement after the defeat of Daesh is to expel the American invading forces from Iraq.

 

According to the Communication and Media Affairs Centre of al-‎Nujaba in Iran‎, Azad News Agency ‎(ANA) has given a detailed report on the activities and positions of the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement and ended its report with an interview with the movement’s spokesperson.

The core of the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement was formed in Baghdad in 2004 as one of the founding groups of Popular Mobilization Forces and officially announced its activities in 2013.

The Islamic Resistance group, led by Hujjat al-Islam Akram al-Kaabi, operates in Iraq and Syria and has played a major role in fighting and defeating the Daesh terrorist group.

In addition to military activities, al-Nujaba has also been involved in cultural and social affairs and has carried out activities.

Media activities, production of multimedia products, as well as social assistance to needy citizens inside and outside the country, are among these activities, the last of which we witnessed in helping the flood victims in the south of our country.

 

Prohibition of al-Nujaba: The beginning of condemnations and the crystallization of the human capital of the Islamic Resistance

On September 16, 2008, the United States Treasury Department blacklisted the secretary-general of al-Nujaba, and nine years later, on November 4, 2017, it imposed sanctions on al-Nujaba.

Coinciding with the implementation of the “Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act” (CAATSA) by the United States against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the sanctions bill on the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement was introduced by Representative Ted Poe, a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives. This is while his name is at the top of the signatories of many hostile resolutions and he has repeatedly spoken in support of the hypocrites.

It was on March 6, 2019, that the United States Treasury Department officially announced that it had imposed sanctions on al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement.

The issue was immediately met with a reaction from al-Nujaba, and a spokesman for the movement at the time said, “The United States’ decision is a conspiracy and a victory for Daesh and all Washington-backed terrorist organizations.”

He added that they are not silent in the face of the great victories of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the Iraqi security forces.

The sanctions on al-Nujaba revealed the hidden capacities of this movement inside and outside Iraq, What is more, first the condemnations of the American decision increased and then we saw a wave of young people who chose the al-Nujaba movement in order to join the Popular Mobilization Forces.

The people of the governorates of Basrah, Karbala, Najaf and Wasit marched and held posters and placards containing slogans such as “We are all al-Nujaba,” “We stand with you,” “I am with the terrorists,” “al-Nujaba terrifies the enemies” and “No! Never! America!” in an expression of their disgust with Washington’s hostile actions. In some Iraqi governorates, conferences were also held with representatives of various Popular Mobilization Forces groups in support of the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement.

The Office of the Representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Khamenei] in Iraq also issued a statement, “We condemn the United States Congress’ plan to call the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement a terrorist group.”

The secretary-general of Hezbollah in Lebanon, Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah also stressed the inclusion of the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement in the United States Congress Sanctions Bill, “All those who defeated the United States’ plan in the region have been prosecuted on terrorism charges, which must be dealt with wisely.”

 

The role of al-Nujaba in defeating terrorism: From Syria to Iraq

In fact, after the United States’ plan to confront Iran in Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Palestine came to a standstill due to the resistance of the Islamic Resistance Axis, Washington saw a way out of this political stalemate by adding the name of the Islamic Resistance Movements to the list of terrorists.

Analyzing why the United States Congress is particularly focused on the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement, this movement played an effective role in thwarting United States’ conspiracies aimed at fueling Takfiri terrorists such as Daesh, destabilizing Iraq, and overthrowing the Syrian government.

The United States also aims to create so-called counterterrorism lists to counter existing values ​​and to replace the concept of resistance with the concept of terrorism.

The influence of al-Nujaba in the depths of Daesh’s terrorist activities in Iraq and Syria was such that shortly afterwards, Representative Ted Poe wrote in a note to the Zionist newspaper “The Jerusalem Post,” groups such as Hezbollah, al-Nujaba and Asa’ib Ahl al-Haqq control much of the liberated Daesh territory. They have taken over Iraq and Syria, and this has led to the extension of the Shi’ah crescent from Iran to the Mediterranean.

He added, “The forces of al-Nujaba are more active in eastern Syria and directly threaten the American forces, in particular, the United States base in the al-Tanf area, which is on the transit route of heavy weapons from Tehran to the Israeli border.”

These remarks represent part of al-Nujaba’s strategy in the years before the defeat of Daesh in Iraq and Syria. What is more, this Islamic Resistance group, at the same time with this strategy, had clearly stated that it was part of Iran’s anti-Zionist campaign and had even formed a specialized unit to liberate the Golan Heights.

 

Structural changes of al-Nujaba: The soldiers of Zaynab are on the path to expelling American terrorists

After the United States Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control announced on March 5, 2019, in a statement that al-Nujaba and Hujjat al-Islam Akram al-Kaabi had been sanctioned, there were gradually whispers of a change in the approach of the fighters of the Islamic Resistance in the movement.

At first, the level of protection of the executive staff and leaders and officials of al-Nujaba increased and we witnessed some changes and developments, for example, limiting the movements of the secretary-general of this movement to focus on strategic and practical leadership instead of participating in conferences and internal and external circles and then electing Nasr al-Shammari as the spokesman of al-Nujaba.

Of course, al-Shammari is also considered as the deputy secretary-general of al-Nujaba.                                                                  

The fighters of al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement, whose names are taken from a part of the sermon of Lady Zaynab in Syria, said, “... And it is amazing that the nobles of the party of God were killed by the freedmen of the party of Satan.” After these developments, and considering the increasing confrontation between Iran and the United States in the region and the exaggerations of United States President Donald Trump that he is monitoring Iran from Iraq. They changed their mission and now, according to the official statement of the new spokesman of the movement, they are working to expel the aggressor Americans from their territory.

In a televised address to al-Alam, he warned the Americans, “Withdraw your troops from Iraq and close your embassy with thousands of employees before you have to. We have the right to monitor American military bases in our country. The presence of American troops in Iraq is illegal and the entry and exit of any foreign troops into Iraq must be approved by parliament.”

al-Shammari added, “If the United States wants a strong government in Iraq, it must withdraw its forces from the country and end the pressure on the government in Baghdad. It is better for them to leave Iraq before we force the Americans to leave.”

The deputy secretary-general of al-Nujaba also said at the “Black House” analytical meeting held in Tehran, “In addition to secret bases, the United States has established eleven military bases in Iraq and deployed 11,000 troops there. Forces of Islamic Resistance have identified and monitored all of these bases.”

He added, “Iraq’s stability depends on the withdrawal of American troops. It is better for the American embassy in Baghdad to be closed and turned into a museum like the ‘Den of Spies’ in Tehran.”

 

Spokesman: The United States has targeted Iran and all other Islamic Resistance groups together

Fighting the United States as a key part and priority of the new round of policies of the al-Nujaba Movement is important because Washington seeks to provoke the Zionist regime to play a destructive role in the region, especially by targeting the Popular Mobilization Forces and Iranian-backed forces.

In this regard, to explain the new mission of al-Nujaba, the deputy secretary-general of the Movement travelled to Tehran earlier this week and met with senior political and military officials of our country, including Dr. Ali-Akbar Velayati, the advisor to the Supreme Leader on International Affairs, Dr. Sa’id Jalili, the representative of the Supreme Leader in the Supreme National Security Council, met with Major General Yahya Rahim-Safavi, the assistant and senior advisor to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution on Armed Forces Affairs, and Dr. Mohsen Rezaei, the secretary of the Expediency Discernment Council.

In an interview with a reporter from the West Asian region and the Islamic Resistance Axis of the international group of Azad News Agency, Nasr al-Shammari said in this regard, “Today, the United States and the Zionist regime are targeting Iran and all Islamic Resistance groups together because we have a unified existence. Conversely, we will face them with the same logic as a single entity.”

He added, “We will not allow Iraq to become a base for targeting Iran or any of the countries in the region. In this regard, our position is firm and we have sent a message to the government that the Islamic Resistance groups do not allow the territory of Iraq to be used to invade any of the neighbouring countries, especially the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

al-Shammari said, “Our battle with the Zionist regime is an ideological and permanent battle that will not end except with the destruction of one of the two sides and the other side is definitely the Zionist regime.”

In conclusion, the deputy secretary-general of al-Nujaba emphasized, “This is the fulfillment of the divine promise that, God-willing, the Zionists will soon be removed from the Arab and Islamic lands.”
