al-Nujaba spokesman: Iran is an integral part of the identity of the Islamic world

In a special news conference on the dimensions of Dr. Zarif’s visit to Iraq, Sayyid al-Musawi called Iran an integral part of the Islamic world’s identity.

According to the Communication and Media Affairs Centre of al-‎Nujaba in Iran‎, the program “Special News Conversation” which will be broadcast on December 15, 2018 will examine the various dimensions of the visit of Dr. Mohammad-Javad Zarif, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, to Iraq, with Sayyid Hashem al-Musawi, the official spokesman of the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance movement on IRIB’s Channel 2.

According to the Young Journalists Club, at the beginning of his speech, Sayyid al-Musawi expressed his condolences to the nation and the army of the Islamic Republic of Iran and called Iran an integral part of the identity of the Islamic world.

He added, “The American Secretary of State went to Iraq and then the Iranian Secretary of State went to Iraq and we see a lot of differences between these two trips. The first point is that the national consensus welcomes the visit of the Iranian Foreign Minister, which shows the depth of Iranian and Iraqi relations with other countries. Iran has no particular denomination or belief when it comes to supporting Iraq. The Iranian Foreign Minister’s visit to Iraq cannot be considered insignificant, and on the other hand, these two countries played a major role in the fight against terrorism.”

The senior member of al-Nujaba added, “The Americans want to compensate for their foreign policy in a way, while Iraq is part of the Islamic Resistance Axis, and today the political factor in Iraq is seen as superior to the military factor in parliament as much as no political influence is exercised in Iraq.”

Sayyid al-Musawi continued by saying that the United States uses the Persian Gulf countries as puppets, “We have never liked the relations between the Arab countries, the United States has created an illusory enemy called Iran in the region but today the Iraqi national consciousness has thwarted the American plans.”

Noting that the United States has turned all its pages, he said, “The face of the United States is clear today. The Iraqi government did not agree with the increase of American forces in Iraq, they wanted to punish the Iraqi government as their last resort. The United States wanted to bring back the Ba’athists and sought to re-establish a Kurdish scenario in Kirkuk.”

Pointing out that the government of Baghdad must have confidence, the spokesman for al-Nujaba said, “Military power is not like the electronic army, today the armies of the Arab countries are silent against Israel while the Palestinian people stand against Israel.

When Baghdad was besieged by Daesh, not a single bullet was fired by the Arab countries to help us, but our friends in Iran helped us.”

At the end of this live TV interview, Sayyid al-Musawi stated in support of the new Iraqi government, “Today, the government of Adil Abdul-Mahdi has a national consensus and authority and the United States wants to fight the people. Today, Iraq speaks the language of the Islamic Resistance. The Iraqi Prime Minister declared that we are not part of the United States and that the President of the United States must speak with respect to Iraq and its people because today this country is independent and has clear sovereignty.”
