In a meeting with HI al-Kaabi:

Iranian ambassador to Iraq: al-Nujaba is the source of pride for the Iranian people

During a Norouz meeting of Hujjat al-Islam al-Kaabi, Iraj Masjedi praised the struggles of the fighters of the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance movement and called this movement a source of pride for the Iranian people.

According to the Communication and Media Affairs Centre of al-‎Nujaba in Iran‎, Hujjat al-Islam Akram al-Kaabi, the secretary-general of the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance movement ‎met with Iraj Masjedi, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed security developments in the region, discussed plans to eliminate the remnants of Daesh in Iraq and the movements of terrorist groups in Syria.

Hujjat al-Islam al-Kaabi stressed the need to consolidate international efforts to eradicate terrorism, saying that global potentials, along with Iran, Iraq and Islamic Resistance groups, must seek to eliminate the enemies of Islam and their financial-weapons backers.

In this meeting, while appreciating the influential role of al-Nujaba in Iraq and Syria against the Front of Falsehood, Masjedi said, “The actions and approaches of the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance movement make the Iraqis and even the Iranians proud.”

In conclusion, he added, “The support of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the countries of the region will continue and will help them to discover the conspiracies of the enemies.”
