In response to the US Congress’ Sanctions bill:

Spokesman for al-Nujaba: We will stay in Syria until terrorism is eradicated

Reacting to the congressional sanctions bill against the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance movement, Sayyid Hashim al-Musawi stated, “We will not retreat until the end of terrorism in Syria.”

According to the Communication and Media Affairs Centre of al-‎Nujaba in Iran‎, Sayyid Hashim al-Musawi, the official spokesman of al-Nujaba, following the United States’ Congress’ sanctions bill against the Islamic Resistance movement, called the inclusion of al-Nujaba on the United States’ list of terrorist groups predictable and stated, “The al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance movement is an Iraqi group and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Hezbollah in Lebanon are also its allies.”

He stated, “Putting us on the list of terrorist groups does not affect the course of our activities.”

He added, “The United States’ goal is to put pressure on us to leave Syria.”

The official spokesman of al-Nujaba noted, “Everyone must know that we will not retreat until the end of terrorism in Syria and our presence in Syria is completely legal.”
