HI al-Kaabi: We will announce the complete liberation of Iraq soon

The secretary-general of al-Nujaba travelled to Lebanon yesterday and met with religious figures of the Islamic Resistance movement to express the complete liberation of Iraq in one step and announced its official announcement in the coming days.

According to the Communication and Media Affairs Centre of al-‎Nujaba in Iran‎, Hujjat al-Islam Akram al-Kaabi, the secretary-general of al-Nujaba, and Hujjat al-Islam Yusuf al-Nasiri, his deputy for interfaith and interdenominational rapprochement, met with Ayatollah Afif al-Nabulsi, a prominent scholar and the director of the Imam al-Sadiq Seminary, as well as Hujjat al-Islam Maher Hammoud, the chairman of the International Union of Resistance Scholars, during a visit to Lebanon on October 30, 2017.

In separate meetings, the two sides discussed issues such as the situation in the region, especially the situation in Iraq, Lebanon and Syria, the current situation in Iraq, especially the Iraqi Islamic Resistance groups and the role of the Popular Mobilization Forces in strengthening the Islamic Resistance in the region and the need for Islamic unity to promote a culture of peaceful coexistence between Muslims.

The director of the Imam al-Sadiq Seminary in Lebanon welcomed the delegation from al-Nujaba and said, “You, the warriors of the Islamic Resistance Front, are defending us, and we will defend you.”

Referring to the enemies’ conspiracy to destroy Iraq, Ayatollah al-Nabulsi said, “The conspiracies of the United States, Israel and Saudi Arabia, which have committed the most heinous crimes and assassinations in Iraq so far, must be vigilantly eliminated.”

He stressed the need to protect the territorial integrity of Iraq and said, “Iraq must remain united with all its groups, ethnicities, denominations and religions and it is up to the people to thwart the conspiracies of the enemies – who want to disrupt unity.”

The prominent Lebanese scholar also noted that we need a united Iraq and said, “The Popular Mobilization Forces and the Islamic Resistance must play a role in the fate of Iraq because these same resistance groups guarantee the security of Iraq and its people.”

Ayatollah al-Nabulsi continued, “These were the ones who saved Iraq from the clutches of the terrorists and now the enemies must know that their attacks against the Popular Mobilization Forces will not affect this institution and the Iraqi people.”

According to the report, the secretary-general of al-Nujaba also called the achievement of complete freedom of Iraq in one step and said, “Our forces are currently clearing areas under the control of the American-supported terrorists on the Syrian-Iraqi border.”

Hujjat al-Islam al-Kaabi said that in the coming days, we will announce the complete liberation of Iraq and added, “After the defeat of Daesh, which was part of its plan for the region, the United States sought to implement another plan, which was to form a Kurdish government in northern Iraq to divide the country and then divide the entire region, but this plan also failed with exemplary unity.”

He concluded by describing the Popular Mobilization Forces as “a powerful force in Iraq” and added, “The conspiracies of the United States to divide the region failed with the effective presence of Islamic Resistance groups and they were surprised by this position.”
