Official Spokesman of al-Nujaba:

Barzani must apologize for raising Israeli flag | We do not pay political ransom ‎to the Kurdistan Region of Iraq

Emphasizing on not granting political concessions to the separatists, Sayyid Hashem ‎al-Musawi said, “The head of the Kurdistan Region must apologize to the Iraqi ‎people for raising the Israeli flag before negotiations.”‎

According to the Communication and Media Affairs Centre of al-‎Nujaba in Iran‎, Sayyid Hashim al-Musawi, the official ‎spokesman of al-Nujaba, spoke at the commemoration of the ‎martyr Luay Sadiq al-Shammari, a photojournalist of al-Nujaba’s War Media Unit, said, “Whenever we offer a martyr to Islam, we quote the same words of Lady Zaynab who said: ‘Oh God, accept it from us, even if it is little.’”

He added, “Some criticize us for the number of martyrs and Daesh broadcasts videos of our martyrs to say that we were able to kill this number of fighters. In response to this question, we repeat the words of Lady Zaynab who had said to Ubaydullah ibn Ziyad, ‘I saw nothing but beauty.’”

Emphasizing that the blood of the martyrs of the Islamic Resistance must not be trampled on, ‎he said, “This blood was shed to counter the division of Iraq. In Iraq, some allied with Israel and the enemies to divide the country and held a referendum in this regard.”

Sayyid al-Musawi clarified, “We explicitly reject the division of Iraq, the displacement of the people of Kirkuk, the occupation of oil wells and what they call ‘blood borders,’ and we will stand against it.”

Referring to the Kurdistan Region’s conditions for negotiating with the central ‎government to resolve tensions, he said, “Anyone who wants to ‎negotiate with the Iraqi government must enter into negotiations without ‎preconditions and must cancel the Kurdistan Region independence referendum before that.”‎

He continued, “The Peshmerga forces must return to the 2003 borders and we will not give them any political concessions. We reject all the actions of Ayad Allawi and [Athil] al-Nujayfi and consider them part of the conspiracy.”

Sayyid al-Musawi also addressed the president of the Kurdistan Region, “[Masoud] Barzani must ‎annul the referendum result and return to the negotiating table and before that ‎he must apologize to the Iraqi people for raising the Israeli flag in that region.”‎

In conclusion, he emphasized the absence of belligerence and said, “Our request to the Prime Minister to establish an organization to command the regions of Kirkuk was because the enemies have gained power and want to purge Kirkuk through ethnic cleansing and annex it to Kurdistan, steal its oil and sell it to Israel.”
