al-Nujaba carries out operation in the Iraq-Syria-Jordan border triangle and captures a Daesh member

al-Nujaba fighters carried out an operation in the border triangle of Iraq, Syria and Jordan and captured a Daesh member and liberated several areas from the clutches of this terrorist group.

According to the Communication and Media Affairs Centre of al-‎Nujaba in Iran‎, fighters of the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance group liberated large parts of the southeastern Syrian desert region where the borders of Iraq, Syria and Jordan meet.

In this recent operation, the Islamic Resistance fighters liberated several important areas, including the three villages of Umm al-Rahil, Abu Khashibah, and Barakah al-Mayah from Daesh Takfiri terrorists.

The commander of the al-Nujaba forces in Syria did not mention the number of casualties among the terrorist group but said that the successful operation was accompanied by the capture of a Daesh member.

It is worth mentioning that after the Popular Mobilization Forces reached the Iraqi-Syrian border, the protection of a part of the border belt between the two countries was entrusted to the fighters of al-Nujaba – due to their presence in Syria for several years to carry out jihadi operations with the consent of the Syrian government.
